Doing life in community with others can be a beautiful thing. To experience deep, rich community is one of life’s greatest gifts. Suffering in community makes the journey much more bearable. During my journey towards wholeness, suffering ran deep, but the Lord’s faithfulness and the gift of community ran deeper.  Both made hope come alive in me. It is that message of hope that I want to extend to you.

Today a new sprout of hope rose in me. I opened my email to find a Dayspring card from Emily, a middle school young lady from church. She has encouraged me countless times over the last year. Months ago she told me I was on her prayer list and that she prayed for me every day. To hear that warmed my heart and moistened my eyes.  Today the same thing happened.  The card held such a sweet message.  It read……thinking about you with my heart….remembering you in my prayers. All prayers for you are full of praise to God. Philippians 1:3( TLB)  Time and time again, notes, cards, emails, texts, etc. have come at just the right time. Today was one of those times.

What about you?  Do you have a strong community?  Do you have people speaking truth into your life?  Do you have someone you can call on at any time?  Do you have a shoulder to cry on? Do you have someone to rejoice with you?  If not, that is my prayer for you as you walk your path to wholeness.  May the Lord comfort you as you wait.  Might you boldly ask others to walk with you? Paul’s words to the Romans come to mind.” I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join in my struggle by praying to God for me.” Romans 15:30.

While nothing replaces relationships that are in real life, it is my prayer that  HealthTurners  can provide a sense of community to many.  I hope to fill the blog with entries that will draw us together.  Additionally, there will be the option to get my newsletter.  It will be filled with gems to help us on the journey.  Facebook post will help us connect frequently.  Lastly, the HealthTurners Movement will be the most interactive online community. This private group will serve as a place to walk alongside others as we all journey towards wholeness. I am so confident that this will serve as a bonding tool that I have lowered the price of the membership. Access to the group and its benefits is priced at $97/year.  Until Friday morning, the membership fee will be $80, with the option to renew at this rate. The option to pay in two installments is available.
